As a director, Madeline strives to build a rehearsal space that is safe, uplifting, and imaginative, with a focus on collaboration and community. Her practices are analytical, detail-oriented, and joyful. She believes that encouraging vulnerability and contribution from every person involved is the best way to create art that is diverse and reflective of its audience.

With a preference for queer stories featuring strong interpersonal relationships, Madeline uses their love of learning and passion for theatre to create art that is emotional and engaging.
